Raise money for your Registered Student Organization during One Day for UNK!
One Day for UNK: Loper Giving Day is a 24-hour virtual day of giving and engagement in support of University of Nebraska at Kearney students. On Oct. 5-6, 2023, from noon to noon, Lopers from across the globe will come together to raise critical funding to empower our students and champion our favorite campus.
One Day for UNK offers Loper students a unique opportunity to raise funds that will go directly back to their Registered Student Organizations. We encourage you to utilize social media, as well as reach out to alumni, students, parents, friends, professors and anyone else you can recruit to support your group’s efforts!
All Registered Student Organizations who participate will compete to win bonus dollars for their organization:
- $500 awarded to the RSO with the most donors by noon on Friday, Oct. 6.
- $500 awarded to the RSO with the most dollars raised by noon on Friday, Oct. 6.
- $100 awarded to five randomly selected RSOs that register to participate by Sept. 22, 2023. Each RSO must have 10 or more donors to their organization by noon on Friday, Oct. 6, to be eligible for the drawing.
How to register:
Create a profile and fill out the form here to register. You must represent a student organization registered on Presence with UNK Student Engagement to participate. Register by 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22, 2023.
What’s next:
Via email, you will receive a One Day for UNK toolkit and a link to your fundraising page. Once you have this link, send it to your members, your alumni, parents, friends, etc., and be sure to post it to your social media accounts using #OneDayforUNK!
Fees:
Student groups are advised that any funds raised through One Day for UNK are subject to advancement fees. Funds raised through this giving day will be available to student groups, less fees, approximately 45-60 days after the event.
